Return to Self is a six-week guided program — a simple, supported entry into SomaFIT — that helps you come back into real connection with your body, notice what is happening inside in real time, and begin building the capacity to stay.

New to SomaFIT? SomaFIT is a body-based, heart-centered practice that helps you notice when you leave yourself under stress — and gently learn how to come back. It is not therapy, not yoga, and not meditation. It is a practical way to work directly with how your nervous system moves, using your body as the starting point.

When you bring awareness to a place in the body and simply stay — without fixing, without forcing, without trying to make anything change — the body begins to respond on its own.

The fascia softens. The holding loosens. Something that has been braced for a long time begins to unwind.

Fascia is part of the body’s holding system. It tightens when something didn’t feel safe, when something couldn’t complete, when the body needed to protect. It has been holding that story ever since.

The 6-Week Journey

This work happens in two parts. The first three weeks build the safety and capacity for deeper work. The second three weeks continue building that capacity while allowing the deeper issues to be tracked and worked with directly in private session.

We begin with connection and sensation. You learn how to come into the body, notice one place, and start building the foundation.

Continue the full practice with more emphasis on staying with sensation and beginning edge work — noticing where you stay and where you begin to leave.

Build safety and capacity by recognizing the moment you leave and strengthening your ability to come back.

Guided Deeper Work

With more capacity in place, we continue the daily practice while beginning deeper tracking in session — protection patterns, shields, and what sits underneath.

Deeper Pattern Work

We work more directly with what is underneath — trauma responses, limiting beliefs, unresolved events, family history, and what has been shaping your experience.

Week Six

Integration

We continue the practice, deepen where needed, and begin integrating what has been discovered so it can carry into daily life.
