The FIT Method

FIT (Focused Intention Technique) is Loretta Mohl’s 11-step body-centered healing process, developed through over four decades of clinical and community work.

SomaFIT is the first level of this work.

It is where we begin by building the capacity to stay present in the body, recognize protection patterns, and shift out of the constant stay-ready survival state.

This foundation matters because deeper healing cannot happen when protection is still leading.

Once this foundation is established, participants may continue into CoreFIT, where the full 11-step FIT process is used to work with deeper layers and the original places where protection began.

A Safe, Body-Led Journey Over 21 Days

SomaFIT is an invitation to slow down and come home to yourself.

Over 21 days, you’ll gently turn your attention inward — not to fix or change anything, but to notice what your body has been holding and how it has learned to protect you.

Through simple daily practices, you begin building the capacity to stay present with what arises.

And when the body feels safe enough to stay, something begins to shift naturally.

This is a journey of relationship with yourself. One that unfolds naturally, at a pace your body can trust.

This is how new inner stability is built — slowly, safely, and from the inside out.

Ways You Can Participate

Group Journey

You can join the SomaFIT journey in a shared group experience. These containers create a supportive space where participants explore the practices together while still moving at their own pace.

Group journeys follow the posted monthly sessions and begin when a new group opens.

Private Journey

If you prefer a quieter experience, SomaFIT can also be completed privately.

Private participants can begin whenever they are ready while still moving through the full 21-day structure and practices.

For FIT Practitioners & Instructors

The FIT work has continued to evolve. With the introduction of SomaFIT and CoreFIT, pacing and capacity-building are now held more explicitly within the FIT pathway — and these offerings are experienced and delivered differently than earlier formats.

To support consistency and shared understanding across the FIT community, recertification is required for those wishing to remain certified as FIT Practitioners or Instructors.
